Mahiyah: Journal of Islamic Thought and Philosophy is an academic journal managed by the Department of Islamic Theology and Philosophy, UIN Datokarama Palu. The journal serves as a scholarly platform for developing, discussing, and disseminating studies in Islamic thought, Islamic philosophy, kalām, Sufism, ethics, metaphysics, epistemology, and contemporary Islamic issues examined through critical, reflective, and methodological approaches.
As a scholarly publication, Mahiyah is committed to encouraging the emergence of Islamic thought that is open, profound, and relevant to contemporary developments. The journal welcomes research articles, conceptual studies, studies of intellectual figures, textual analyses, and critical examinations of the dynamics of classical, modern, and contemporary Islamic thought. Particular attention is also given to studies that connect the Islamic intellectual tradition with issues related to humanity, culture, society, science, technology, and global civilization.
